How Our Courses Work We believe in knowledge-based training, not just rote memorization. As you open a (chapter) course, you'll see a number of courses and lessons within. One course is one subject. This is learning your way. You will be provided multiple methods or "lessons" to engage with the material—including visual diagrams, written breakdowns, games, and sometimes video explanations. Choose the best path for your learning style or complete them all to achieve absolute subject mastery. This introductory section offers several exam roadmaps. It is designed to accomplish two goals: Teach the Flow: You will learn how the courses are structured and navigated. Access Resources: You will see how to find and utilize essential supplementary materials for your training. Included here are several WaterHird exam roadmap(s) for water and wastewater professionals. Remember: We are not an exam-prep company. However, our philosophy is simple: if you master the knowledge, you will pass the exam. These courses will provide the process control insights that test-question memorization cannot. You will also find a detailed industry timeline of key milestones. Understanding where our industry began is critical to seeing where it is going. Pay close attention to these events—don't be surprised if one or more show up on your licensing exam!
